Valérie Planchez, Havas Paris Senior Vice President since June 2014, is a Sciences Po graduate who started her advertising career with Havas in 1986.
In 1993, she joined UK agency Saatchi & Saatchi handling international clients, and then moved to Leo Burnett in 1997 where she was promoted to Managing Director. In 2004, she founded her own agency, Duck Experience, specialising in luxury brands. She returned to Havas Media Intelligence in 2006 as Managing Director and was Strategic Director at Saatchi & Saatchi Duke from 2009 to 2014.
Valérie Planchez has spent her career planning and implementing brand strategy for major clients such as Alpine/Renault, Canal Plus, Intermarché, GDF-Suez and Club Med and has a shrewd understanding of both French and international retail and consumer issues, as well as the financial services industry (e.g. Crédit Agricole and Société Générale) and luxury brands (e.g. LVMH, Hermès, Piaget and Givenchy).
